Today, we are sharing a great buying experience with Chris Christensen, Lynda’s Real Estate Service, Boyne City. Myself and my wife recently moved from SW Michigan to Boyne City. Unfortunately, being 4 hours away made it extremely difficult to walk through homes, and ”jump on” the ideal homes in very tight real estate market. After meeting with Chris, he quickly was able to relate to our needs/wants in a new home. We managed the home search remotely, which was made very easy by timely communication from Chris. Chris’s broad market experience and industry knowledge helped us find and purchase our new home, in an extremely tight timeframe. At time of purchase, we were managing a bank, title company, sellers and ourselves all living in different cities across Michigan. Chris managed communication and documentation from all parties, insuring no concerns at closing. After our purchase, Chris has continued to be a huge asset to us when needing local knowledge of the best trades people. Chris knows everybody! He was very good at pointing out issue with house's and things we might want to think about. I have worked with other realtors that just want the sale. Chris is a phenomenal realtor. I told him we were not really looking and didn't want to be pestered, but to get a hold of me if something very special came along meeting our criteria. He let me know of a listing he was about to list and we looked at it the next day. The next day, we were under contract. During the closing process, he worked on several legal, technical issues that arose, but never made us feel like we should be worried...he is calm under pressure. After we put our old home on the market, we had two offers in ONE day. We accepted an offer from another realtor in Chris' office and working with both of them during the closing was seamless. We are so thankful for Chris' honesty, candor and immediate responsiveness to our phone calls and emails. Chris is ON THE BALL and a straight shooter!
